Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SIA HouseNet processes personal data relating to Tīnūžu 15 website visitors, prospective clients, buyers and tenants.

Controller and contacts

SIA HouseNet, registration No. 40003901294, VAT No. LV40003901294, registered address: Tīnūžu iela 1A–1, Rīga, LV-1021. Email: info@housenet.lv, telephone: +371 29 265 665.

Data we process

  • for the initial offer — your first and last name, telephone number, email address and correspondence;
  • information about the selected apartment, parking space, storage room, viewing or transaction interest;
  • after you ask us to begin preparing an agreement — your personal identity number, declared address and other identification, financial or transaction data only to the extent needed to prepare the specific agreement and transaction;
  • technical data, including IP address and request logs, required for website operation and security.

Purposes and legal bases

We use data to answer enquiries, arrange viewings, prepare offers and documents, enter into and perform agreements, protect the website and HouseNet’s legitimate interests, and meet accounting and other legal duties.

If you confirm an individual offer and ask us to begin preparing a draft agreement, the basis for processing the data needed for that purpose is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Consent is not the only, and is generally not the main, basis for preparing an agreement. Depending on the particular operation, the basis may also be performance of a contract, a legal obligation, HouseNet’s legitimate interests or your consent where it is genuinely needed for a separate optional service.

Service providers, AI and automated processing

HouseNet may use automated tools and artificial-intelligence services to help prepare offers, draft communications, translations, summaries and CRM records. These tools assist a HouseNet employee but do not make a legally significant decision about a client solely by automated means. The final offer, price, transaction terms and dispatch are reviewed and approved by an authorised HouseNet employee.

Recipients and international transfers

Data may be accessed to the extent necessary by authorised IT, cloud, hosting, email, CRM, AI, legal, accounting and property-management providers, as well as banks, notaries and public authorities where required for the relevant purpose.

Some providers or subprocessors may be located outside Latvia or the European Economic Area. Data is transferred outside the EEA only where a GDPR Chapter V mechanism applies, such as a European Commission adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses and, where necessary, supplementary safeguards. You may ask HouseNet for information about the mechanism applicable to a particular transfer.

Google Maps loads only after your choice; Google then receives data under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Enquiries that do not result in a transaction are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last contact. Transaction, accounting and legal records are retained for statutory periods and as long as needed to defend potential claims. Technical logs are kept only for the period required for security and operation.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion, restriction, object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. Contact info@housenet.lv. You may also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate: Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv, www.dvi.gov.lv.
